Why I keep this learning journal.
I’m Haimanot, a developer using writing to understand and remember what I learn.
My learning comes from books on architecture, software design, and computer science, as well as courses, videos, and podcasts about AI, engineering, and leadership.
This journal is where I explain ideas in my own words, connect them to concrete examples, and explore how to apply them in daily work. Learning notes capture my understanding; practice reports describe what I actually tried and observed.
I don’t want to collect summaries and forget them. I want to build understanding I can use, discuss, and eventually share in talks.
